Fimo Health
Fimo Health is a German digital health company whose main product is an app for people with chronic illnesses. It combines symptom tracking with condition-specific support and educational content for people living with illnesses such as Long Covid, ME/CFS, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer.
I work on both research and content creation for the app and the website. A big part of my job is screening medical literature through PubMed and Elicit, including papers, reviews, and meta-analyses, and using that research as the basis for patient-facing informational content. These articles are written for people living with chronic diseases and are intended to support them in everyday life and improve their quality of life.
I also build and refine the prompt systems we use internally for LLM-supported content production. That includes creating master prompts for recurring article formats as well as larger outputs across different diseases and topic areas. Internally, I’m basically the “master prompter,” which is still a funny title to me, but it’s a real part of the job.
Besides the content side, I also contribute to the CEP (”Clinical Evaluation Plan”) for the CER (”Clinical Evaluation Report”) as part of the process of getting the Fimo app approved as a medical device in the software-as-a-medical-device space.
