Octave Therapy

Octave offers online and in-person therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Alongside its therapy services, the company publishes mental health content for people who are looking for support, information, or a better sense of what therapy can actually look like.

For Octave, I ghostwrite articles for the Resource Center and Blog. I write about therapy options, relationship topics, mental health conditions, self-help, self-care, therapist advice, and similar subjects tied to real questions people have when they start looking for help.

The process starts with research. I find and screen scientific papers myself, then turn that information into articles that feel clear and grounded without sounding too clinical or overly academic. Since the audience is made up of therapy seekers, I try to keep the writing professional but still easy to follow.

Search and discovery are also important in this work. In addition to traditional SEO, I write articles created for LLM visibility and retrieval, especially for medical and mental health topics. This has given me practical experience with LLM-optimized content, including how to organize information, answer questions clearly, and create articles that work for both readers and new search habits.
